Migration and literatures
"The literature of the 21st century will to a large extent be literature without a fixed abode", Prof. Ottmar Ette already stated in 2005. Global migratory movements have always existed, and they will increase significantly. Authors, too, are travelling more and more often. How do the changes of location and language affect their literary work? What do terms such as "home" and "origin" mean these days? At the Litprom Literature Days on January 24 and 25, 20 participants, including three Canadian authors, explored these questions.

"Maximizing Impact" – Frankfurt Publishers Training Programme
"Maximizing Impact: Making the most of content and IP for business and audiences" is the motto of this year’s TIBE Frankfurt Publishers Training Programme in Taipei (3-4 February 2020). The event will take a hands-on approach to two fundamental areas of publishing: marketing and licensing. Prolific speakers from different international publishing markets will share valuable insights. Publishers can still sign up for the programme.
