German Stories in Abu Dhabi
It was the main attraction of the fair and especially popular with children and young people: The 400sqm German collective stand glittered and shone, the walls covered with changeable sequins could be written on by the kids to their hearts' content. With "Goethe VR", a classic of German literature could be experienced virtually at the German stand. And Emirati publishers, who learned about all the latest publications on the occasion of the German guest country appearance at the ADIBF, had long wish lists. All the other important news from the ADIBF can be read at Publishing Perspectives.

Open your ears for Frankfurt Audio!
Audiobooks, podcasts, audio technologies and services - the spoken word takes centre stage at Frankfurt Audio. In 2022, the section will have its own area in Hall 3.1 at Frankfurter Buchmesse. Be there and make your brand and your audio products heard; e.g. with your own stand, a presence at the joint audio book stand, or a workstation in the area.

Booksellers: On the road with the EIBF
Funding to support the networking of booksellers on an international level over a period of three years, to bring them together at industry events and to train them online, and with all costs covered? Sounds good, doesn't it? The European and International Booksellers Federation invites you to apply now for "RISE Bookselling". At the heart of the programme is the "RISE Booksellers exchange programme", which enables members of participating associations to spend time abroad. Applications are already being accepted for the various activities, including participation in the Frankfurt Booksellers Conference during Frankfurter Buchmesse 2022. Here, the RISE group will also meet the participants of the FBM programme "Frankfurt International Booksellers".

Worldwide Reading of Ukrainian Literature
The international literature festival berlin [ilb], in cooperation with Frankfurter Buchmesse and the German PEN Centre, calls on cinemas, schools, universities, media, cultural institutions and individuals to participate in a worldwide reading of Ukrainian literature on September 7, 2022.
Institutions and individuals who would like to participate with a specially organised reading must acquire the rights to the texts themselves from the publishers or authors. The ilb-team is happy to provide support in this matter and will announce the events on the website, press and social media. Please get in touch by July 1, 2022.
